YPC Introduces
"Young Professional of the Month"
The YPC likes to have fun, network, and raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County. It also wants to give back to those who have so generously given to
Big Brothers Big Sisters through the YPC. One way it wants to give back, is by recognizing outstanding young professionals throughout San Diego.
Beginning in 2011, the YPC created the "Young Professional of the Month" (YPOM) recognition. Each month the YPC will honor and recognize a local young professional who, in one way or another, has supported Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County.
Ideal qualities of the YPOM are someone who demonstrates a philanthropic and entrepreneurial spirit, has several community connections, is successful in their career, and has a passion for giving back. Each month, the YPOM is recognized in a special feature through DiscoverSD.com and receives media coverage through various social media outlets and the YPC database consisting of 4,000+ contacts. It is an honor to be recognized as the YPOM and it provides great exposure both personally and professionally.
In order to be considered for YPOM, you must be nominated by a peer. Please send any nominations for this program to our Marketing Department with the person’s name, contact information, and why you think this person should be honored.
February 2011 featured the first ever YPOM; Brandon Hall. Please read about Brandon, Co-Founder of One Hope Wine, at DiscoverSD.com. Thank you, Brandon, for all you do to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County.
